Worcestershire Stately Home-

The State Rooms at Hagley Hall were restored to their former 18th century splendour for Viscount Cobham, as part of the meticulous redecoration and redesign of one of Britain’s great Palladian mansions.

The refurbishment of the Library (top right) with its handsome fringed curtains included the conservation of the 19th century ‘tooled leather’ wallpaper.

The Crimson Drawing Room (centre right) has walls upholstered in chenille velvet to complement the new arrangement of pictures and antique tapestries which were introduced into the room. The 18th century-style ornately braided and fringed taffeta curtains (centre left and bottom right), rococo mirrors and gilded plasterwork complete the picture.

The classic re-decoration of the Long Gallery (top left) included decorative painting, new arrangement of furniture and extensive restoration of the chandeliers.
